Chattanooga Sports Ministries hosted the city’s first the Neighborhood Cup, an intercommunity youth soccer tournament held at the new Highland Park Commons, on March 3.

Sixteen teams of players between the ages of 10 and 13 competed, and boys and girls played in separate divisions. Eleven neighborhoods played in the tournament: Highland Park, East Lake, Emma Wheeler, St. Elmo, Southside, Lookout Mountain, Hixson, Brainerd, Hamilton and Harrison.

Trophies were awarded to the Brainerd girls' team and the St. Elmo boys' team.
