OmniSource Staffing is searching to hire 320 employees, some of whom will begin work as early as next week, for a “tier-one automotive supplier” whose company name is not yet being released.

The company is looking for workers to fill rotating first and third shifts, Melissa Grubb, staffing coordinator for OmniSource, said.

“It is preferred that they have packing and inspecting or forklift experience,” Grubb said. “They definitely need warehouse or industrial experience.”

Grubb said workers need a clean background and a good work history to be considered.

Those hired as packers or inspectors will start at $9 per hour, and forklifters and tuggers will begin at $10.50 per hour.

“We will be hiring 40 people to start Mondays and 40 people to start Wednesdays for the next four weeks,” she said.

All the available positions are long-term, Grubb said.

Those who are interested should apply in person at OmniSource Staffing Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
