Hamilton County Superintendent Rick Smith announced three new principal appointments Tuesday, bringing his total for principal moves this summer to 25.
According to a WRCB report, the shake-up is the biggest in county history.
The most recent batch of appointments made by Smith include principals who will serve at McConnell, Harrison and North Hamilton County Elementary schools.
The appointments are as follows:
—Norma Faerber, current principal at Harrison Elementary, will become principal of McConnell Elementary. Faerber has been with Hamilton County schools since 1997.
—Stacy Johnson, principal of East Lake Elementary School, will replace Faerber as principal of Harrison Elementary. Johnson has been with the district since 1994.
—Jacqueline Hauth, current assistant principal at Westview Elementary School, will become principal of North Hamilton County Elementary, replacing Penny Leffew. Hauth has been with Hamilton County schools since 2005.
The group is Smith's third and final batch of appointments this summer.
