The American Red Cross in Tennessee is now offering drivers the option to purchase a Red Cross license tag.
The price is $35, and proceeds will go to provide relief to disaster victims.
As one of the nation’s leading humanitarian organizations, the mission of the American Red Cross is to provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies, officials said.
The proceeds from each license plate will go to statewide disaster readiness, preparedness and response. To purchase a Tennessee American Red Cross license plate, supporters may log on to american.redcross.org/tnlicenseplate and pay for their plate via credit card online.
