Lookouts final home games of the season
Cheer for the home team all weekend long as the Chattanooga Lookouts wind down the season with a string of five home games against the Jackson Generals from West Tennessee. This will be the last chance to see the Lookouts at home this season. Go Friday night and catch the postgame fireworks on the field.

Machines Are People Too
Synth-popsters MRP2 are making a hometown appearance this weekend before heading out on a fall tour in support of their new EP, "The Fever." The band has been on the road keeping busy since expanding its two-person lineup to also include keyboards and drums. Cross-country touring has brought the band to gigs alongside Ghostland Observatory and Thievery Corporation. Catch 'em while you still can.

Chattanooga Gems III
Take a peek at what lies within the private art collections of Chattanooga residents during this special exhibition on view through October. Museum curators visited the homes of 17 local art collectors to make their selections for the brief museum exhibition. Abstract art from Richard Serra and Robert Motherwell are featured, as well as "super-realist" artist Richard Estes. Sculpture, photography and prints have also been curated for this special showing.

Southern Brewers Festival
Live music and regionally brewed beer in the open air along the Riverfront—do we need to say more? Yes! It's all for a good cause, too, with proceeds going to Chattanooga Kids on the Block. This year is the biggest brewfest yet, with nearly 40 different breweries from around the South attending. The live music starts at 2:30 and doesn't end until hours after sunset. Cheers!

Joe Decosimo CD release party
They are packing in the fun on Sunday afternoon down at the Folk School. Not only will there be a celebration for Decosimo's latest effort, "Sequatchie Valley," but organizers are promising open jam sessions, workshops, sing-a-longs and musical activities for the little ones (who get in free).
