Zach Lee pitched six innings of one-run ball to highlight a stellar four-pitcher performance in the Chattanooga Lookouts’ 6-1 win over the Jackson Generals in Southern League baseball action Monday night action at AT&T Field.

Jackson scored the first run of the game in the second inning, but the Lookouts tied the game in the bottom of the third on a Rafael Ynoa RBI single.

The Lookouts scored three more runs in the fourth inning to take the lead. Jake Lemmerman led off with a solo homer off of Anthony Fernandez (4-3). Luis Nunez followed with a double, and J.T. Wise walked to put two runners on.

Blake Smith then laid down a well-executed bunt in which pitcher Anthony Fernandez unsuccessfully threw to third on the play. Nunez was safe at third and Wise to second. Fernandez continued to struggle and proceeded to walk C.J. Retherford to account for the second run of the inning. Nick Buss then hit a sacrifice fly to deep center field to put the score at 4-1.

Chattanooga padded its lead with a run on a Nunez RBI double in the fifth and Retherford RBI single in the seventh inning.

Rubby De La Rosa, Paco Rodriguez, and Steven Ames combined to shut out the Generals in the final three frames to preserve the 6-1 win.

Lee (3-3) picked up the win for the Lookouts, yielding just one run on three hits and a walk, while striking out six.

The Lookouts will and Generals will wrap up their five-game series at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday in the final regular-season game at AT&T Field.
