The Chattanooga Mocs women’s golf team returns to the tee Friday at the Mercedes-Benz Women’s Championship in Knoxville. Chattanooga is one of 14 teams in the field at Holston Hills Country Club.
It’s the third outing of the season for the Mocs and the second time all six team members will compete. Like the Wild Eggs Cardinal Cup to open the year, one UTC player will compete as an individual.
The lineup for the Mercedes-Benz features juniors Marion Duvernay (Publier, France) and Jordan Britt (Chattanooga, Tenn.), sophomore Porsche Campbell (Vancouver, Canada) and freshmen Isabella Loza (Bucaramanga, Colombia) and Emily McLennan (Queensland, Australia). Sophomore Mette Kryger (Nivaa, Denmark) will play as the individual this weekend.
The tournament opens on Friday, with 18 holes per day through the final round Sunday.
