First, the Dirty Guv’nahs played Track 29 for Mainx24, and now, singer/songwriter Erick Baker takes the stage at Rhythm & Brews tonight. It’s official: The Knoxville music invasion is well underway. The soon-to-be announced Best Local Singer/Songwriter-as chosen by Cityview Magazine-is best-known for the ardent sincerity of his music, a sound that draws pieces of blues, country, folk and pop lyrics that sink in with equal parts bite, burn and affection.
