At 12:12 p.m. on 12-12-12, Hixson residents Corrie and Brian Ceraolo welcomed their first baby boy, Tyler Ceraolo, leaders with Erlanger Baroness Campus said Wednesday.
The date is the last time for a century that the three same numbers will align in a date like this. The next time something similar will happen is Jan. 1, 3001, or 1-1-1, ABC News reported.
Tyler was born weighing 7 pounds and 8 ounces, and he is 20 inches long.
He is the Ceraolos’ first boy. Tyler has two sisters, ages 4 and 7.
Tyler’s first and last names have 12 letters, which was a coincidence. His parents had picked out the name more than seven years ago, but had two girls and couldn’t use it until now.
Brian is a flight paramedic with Erlanger’s Life Force air medical program. So he is familiar with delivering children. He helped deliver his three children as well as nine others. Tyler was the 12th child he has helped deliver.
The family took note of all the rarity of the situation but said they don’t deserve all the attention.
“We are just blessed to have a healthy and happy baby boy,” Brian said in a prepared statement.
