Your long-gone playlist
No doubt there are countless No. 1 hits currently taking up space on your most listened to playlist, but one local band will have you making room for them. The Long Gone Darlings deal in country and alt rock as much as in smoky vocals and lyrics swinging from poignant to badass. The Chattanooga-based, four-piece band takes the stage at The Honest Pint with road warriors Kentucky Knife Fight.

The crème de la crème
The ins and outs of Irish cuisine may stump the unfamiliar diner, but there is one universal truth on which everyone can agree: The Irish know how to cook potatoes. Case in point: The Honest Pint, a self-styled Irish kitchen, offers five boxty dishes. Boxty are traditional potato pancakes with a variety of different fillings. The Chattanooga pub serves up boxty a la cajun chicken, grilled eggplant and pulled pork, among others. And remember ladies, as the rhyme goes: Boxty on the griddle, boxty on the pan, if you don't eat boxty, you'll never get a man.

When: Kitchen closes a little before last call, at approximately 1:45 a.m.
Where: 35 Patten Parkway
How much: $8.50-$9
