Wondering what to do tonight? No need to check your planner—we’ve got your daily post on what’s happening around town.

Crafters of Chattanooga unite
If there’s anything that Pinterest has taught us, it’s that crafters love seeing what other crafters have crafted. Before starting that new project, however, there is always the complication (and expense) of stocking up on the necessary supplies ... or perhaps a trip to tonight’s arts and crafts supply swap at JJ’s Bohemia. Bring the materials piled in the cabinet or on the floor in the guest room, and trade them for another Chatty crafters’ soon-to-be discarded materials.

When: 5 p.m.
Where: 231 E. M.L. King Blvd.
How much: Free with swappable wares

A very happy hour
Egg rolls and guacamole and flatbread, oh my! Big River—at the downtown and Hamilton Place locations—hosts a fully stocked happy hour in the restaurants’ bar and cocktail areas. The menu of small plates includes Southwest egg rolls, rosemary chicken flatbread, Louisiana fried shrimp and a brew house slider combo, and each mini-meal can be paired with one (or more) of the brewery’s trademark beers.

When: 4-6:30 p.m.
Where: 222 Broad St. and 2020 Hamilton Place Blvd.
How much: Appetizers for $5, $7 and $11 with $1 off house beers, $2 off wines by the glass, $5 cocktails
