President Barack Obama landed in Chattanooga aboard Air Force One shortly before 12:30 p.m.

Obama was greeted on the tarmac by Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke and Rep. Jim Cooper, a Democrat from Nashville.

The president then boarded his motorcade to depart for Amazon, where he delivered a speech at 2 p.m.

Following his address, the president returned to Lovell Field and departed Chattanooga for Washington, D.C.
