Automotive accessory manufacturer Remington Industries announced Tuesday it will invest $4 million in the area and create 89 jobs.
The company will manufacture injection molded plastic parts and compound rubber parts from a 63,000-square-foot facility in Mountain View Industrial Park in Ooltewah.
Chattanooga's infrastructure, competent workforce and location made it a good fit, CEO Tim Parkes said in a prepared statement.
"For the North American market, Chattanooga is the ultimate logistical location to optimally support our customers’ ever-changing needs," he said.
