Mohawk recognized again
After recently being recognized as a company with loyal employees, area floor manufacturerMohawk Industries has been praised again.
This time, it’s Training Magazine that listed the company for its training and development.
It’s the 10th consecutive year the company has gotten this distinction.
“Mohawk’strainingprograms arealigned withour businessstrategy,” Becky Redd, corporate learning director for Mohawk Industries, said in a prepared statement. “We train our sales force and customer support functions to exceed expectations through product knowledge and problem-solving skills, our technical teams to drive process innovation on the plant floor and our line employees to deliver quality while maintaining a safe workplace.”
Warehouse Row holiday open house
Downtown’s Warehouse Row will host a holiday celebration Dec. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m.
“The evening of winter festivities will include bites and beverages from Public House and Two Ten Jack, live reindeer in the motor court, local music, and a very special visit from jolly St. Nick spreading holiday cheer to children and adults of all ages,” according to a news release.
Guests can also shop atWarehouse Row retailers such as Anthropologie, newly relocated and expanded Onward Reserve, J.Crew, The Cosmetic Market, Embellish Shoes, Amanda Pinson Jewelry, Lines Orchids, Revival, Shadowbox Paperie, Yves Delorme, Level 10 Salon, Pilates Chattanooga, Yoga Landing and Woodhouse Day Spa.
Lululemon Athletica also recently opened in Warehouse Row.
