Palate 2 Palette has become one of Chattanooga’s favorite fundraising events, with elaborate annual themes and plenty of excitement.
This year’s event will be April 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. on the Southside. Guests will enjoy an art gallery stroll, wine from Athens Distributing and cuisine from Impressions Catering.
Palate 2 Palette also serves as a benefit for the Craniofacial Foundation of America, which specializes in the evaluation and treatment of patients with craniofacial deformities, including birth defects, tumors and trauma.
Tickets are available in advance here. Admission is $100 at the patron level and $150 for VIP access.
The theme is “through the looking glass,” based on Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There.” It will feature living art galleries, allowing guests to interact with the Red Queen and the White Queen and enjoy a game of live-action chess.
Participating locations include Area 61, Granfalloon, Visions Stained Glass, DeBarge Winery, Church on Main, Hart Gallery and Track 29.
As always, the Bubbles and Sweets after-party will be at Track 29 from 8 to 10 p.m. In accordance with the theme, this year’s event will be a Mad Hatter Tea Party with desserts and-if you’re a VIP-hors d’oeuvres by Events With Taste.
Entertainment will be provided by Weave Conceptual Dance Co. and Willie Kitchens and his band.
Guests can bid on items created by CFA and local artists during the silent auction. All proceeds stay local.
