Have you ever wanted to see Chattanooga from the rooftops of downtown buildings?
The fifth annual Rooftop Hop presented by Solar Solutions and GreenSpaces returns Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. to multiple downtown rooftops with festive parties at each.
This year's stops are RootsRated, the Edney Innovation Center, Creative Discovery Museum, the CARTA parking garage on Broad Street and Walnut Commons.
Each year, the hop "provides attendees the chance to gain a new perspective on the city, and why sustainable living, working and building are needed to keep the city beautiful," according to a release.
But the event is also an opportunity to have fun with your friends and see a different side of the Scenic City from above.
Because of the popularity of the event, several changes have been made this year.
To start, only 300 tickets will be sold. Admission is $75 for non-GreenSpaces members; a VIP couples package—including hotel accommodations—is $300.

And this year, instead of a main event party, each of the five stops will have a themed party focused on an aspect of sustainability, such as recycling, energy-efficiency, composting/water conservation or general green living.
Each stop will include live music; local food from restaurants such as 212 Market, Dish T' Pass and Chicken Salad Chick; and adult libations from Panoram Wines, Chattanooga Whiskey and more.
Attendees are encouraged to travel between rooftops using Chattanooga's bike share or the "Elliott Davis Decosimo" and "Green Trips" Ducks.
Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit GreenSpaces and its goal to solidify their place in the Chattanooga community. Since 2010, GreenSpaces has been progressing sustainable living, working and building in Chattanooga. Click here to learn more about GreenSpaces.
