Amazon recently announced that they will be hiring thousands of people in the Tennessee area to help with the holiday rush.
Amazon plans to hire more than 120,000 people across the U.S. in fulfillment centers, sortation centers and customer service sites this holiday season.
Last year, more than 14,000 of these positions turned into full-time roles, complete with health care, 401(k) with a 50 percent match, and stock awards and bonuses, and an official said they plan to increase that number this year.
"This is our favorite time of year," Mike Roth, Amazon vice president of global customer fulfillment, said in a prepared statement. "We love serving customers during the busy holiday season, and we’re excited to bring on more than 120,000 seasonal employees this year to support growing customer demand."
