Aldi is hosting an event to hire 16 associate and manager positions in its Chattanooga-area stores.
“Our hiring events are designed to find the best-possible employees to serve Aldi customers,” Mt. Juliet Division Vice President Troy Marshall said via email. “As an employer of choice, offering wages and benefits that are higher than those of other retailers in the market, our hiring events attract a high number of candidates.”

When: Saturday, Jan. 14, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Where: Hilton Garden Inn, 2343 Shallowford Village Drive
Leaders are hiring for stores in Chattanooga, Cleveland, Hixson, Ooltewah, Dalton and Ft. Oglethorpe.
The starting wage is $11.50 per hour for store associates and $16 per hour for shift managers.
Part-time staff working at least 25 hours per week also receive full health insurance benefits and dental coverage, and all Aldi employees are invited to participate in the 401(k) program.

Job requirements include:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. daily
- Retail experience preferred
- Management experience preferred for manager trainees
- Drug screening and background check
