Comedian Dave Chappelle will return to Chattanooga’s Tivoli Theatre to perform a standup comedy set next month.

The Tivoli Theatre announced the Feb. 4 show Wednesday morning. Tickets will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Tickets start at $65.50.

Because of popular demand, a second show has been added

The controversial comedian last appeared in Chattanooga in 2013. Known for his work on Comedy Central’s “The Chappelle Show,” he took an extended hiatus before bursting back into public view with a multicity tour.

In 2016, Chappelle hosted “Saturday Night Live,” in which he rehashed many of his popular characters and poked fun at his wealth and President-elect Donald Trump during his opening monologue. Watch the appearance below.

This year, he announced plans to offer a trio of concert specials.

Updated @ 11:17 a.m. on 1/13/17 to add information on the second show.
