CSO presents Bartok concerto
The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera presents Bartok’s “Concerto for Orchestra” as part of the Barnett & Co. Masterworks Series. The program will also include James Stephenson’s “Concerto for Violin” and violinist Holly Mulcahy. Most of CSO’s principal musicians will be featured. Tickets start at $21. Hunter Museum: Latino art exhibit
Throwback Thursday at the Hunter Museum of American Art always offers something special. This month, guests are invited to enjoy the entire permanent collection free of charge from 6 to 7 p.m. For $5, guests can upgrade their experience to include the new “Our America: The Latino Presence in American Art” exhibit. At 6 p.m., professors from UTC”s departments of English and history will discuss themes and ideas associated with the new exhibit. Click here for more information.
