Cloudland Canyon State Park will now offer mountain bike rentals to guests.
Bikes can be rented for $35 for a half-day or $55 for a full day.
The Cloudland Canyon Connector Trail is popular among mountain bikers and covers 14 miles. Bikers can take this trail to the Five Points Recreation Area to access more than 23 miles of trails that eventually meet the Chattanooga Connector Trail and downtown Chattanooga.
The Chattanooga Connector Trail began construction in January and will allow visitors to bike or hike to Lula Lake Land Trust.
Trails range in difficulty and feature contour line trails, loops and challenging jumps.

The park also offers Mountain Bike Hike every Tuesday and Sunday from March to November. Riders can rent bikes or bring their own and ride through the trails with the guidance of a park ranger.
Visitors to the park can also rent cottages, yurts, and camping and backpacking sites. Payments can be made at the visitors center, and bikes can be picked up at the park’s interpretative center.
