Chattanooga Human Resources Director Todd Dockery is leaving his position with the city.
“It is my understanding that Mr. Dockery’s last day with the city is Friday,” Councilman Ken Smith said. “I really enjoyed working with him, and I wish him the best.”
City spokeswoman Marissa Bell confirmed that today is Dockery’s last day and said she’d provide his resignation letter as soon as possible.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Dockery has been in his position since 2013.
In his role, he was responsible for strategic planning and oversight for operations in the HR department, as well as supervision of HR staff.
He’s also currently an adjunct professor at UTC.
Before his time with the city, he was director of human resources at Open Arms Care, also according to his LinkedIn profile.
