Chattanooga Allergy Clinic’s downtown location recently expanded to offer more exam rooms and quicker visits.
The 325 Market St. clinic opened in July 2015 but has just recently been expanded to 3,000 square feet and updated to meet patient demand.
“The reason we expanded is that [the old office] was small,” Chattanooga Allergy Clinic CEO Dr. Marc Cromie said. “We needed more exam rooms.”
The new space offers 10 exam rooms and a dedicated location for allergy shots. Previously, only one doctor worked out of the location because of space constraints, but now, Cromie, Dr. Todd Levin and Dr. Lee Perry make rotations downtown.
Cromie said that business has been up since the renovations.
“Our numbers are up, and people love this office for the ease [and] convenience of getting down here versus the Lee Highway or Hixson offices,” he said.
To meet the demand, the clinic has hired a nurse practitioner and more nurses.
“It’s a full-service clinic,” Cromie said. “Typically with this office, we can get patients seen quicker.”
Crews are also working to finish CAC’s new headquarters on Lee Highway, which is expected to open in April.
