Officials are still finalizing plans for the specific location,Troy Marshall, Mount Juliet division vice president for Aldi, said via email.
“We look at a lot of factors before choosing anAldi location, like population density, proximity to competition, cost of the property and traffic patterns,” Marshall said. “We want to be conveniently located for our shoppers, and Signal Mountain is a great location. We’re excited to join the community and to be able to bring high-quality groceries at everyday low prices to local residents.”
Although details about this specific building are still in the works, a typical storehas 10,000-11,000 square feet of sales floor space and four to five aisles.
Marshall said that Aldi offers a unique shopping experience where customers can get many items, includingfresh produce, meat, bread and dairy, along with household items, for up to 50 percent less than other stores.
“We’ve learned that while our low prices may attract first-time customers, they become loyal fans because of our quality and value,” he also said.
