Sam Beam has created music as Iron & Wine for more than a decade. He has released five albums, a variety of EPs and many duets throughout his career.

His most recent release is the third volume in his "Archive" series. The series features songs from tapes found "in the back corners of closets and dusty shoeboxes—long neglected, but never forgotten."

Beam's music was introduced to the masses on his debut album, "The Creek Drank the Cradle," in 2002 and heightened by his 2004 release, "Our Endless Numbered Days."

Spin magazine called the latter album "self-assured, spellbinding, and richly, refreshingly adult."

In 2016, Beam toured with songwriter/guitarist Jesca Hoop. The two released a collaborative record called "Love Letters for Fire." Watch their performance on NPR's Tiny Desk below.
