Local artists pay tribute to Wayne White
Local artist Matthew Dutton will lead a presentation tonight to honor Wayne White’s influence. Artists will also discuss how White’s style helped influence their own projects and artistic vision. Admission is $15 (regular Hunter Museum of American Art admission), and guests can enjoy music from Matt Downer and a cash bar. Attendees will also have a chance to help put the finishing touches on a “larger-than-life” piece of artwork that local artists created in his likeness. White’s exhibit “Thrill After Thrill: 30 Years of Wayne White” will run through Oct. 1 at the museum. Click here for more information.
