An annual weekly concert series on the Chattanooga Riverfront returns Saturday night.

Friends of the Festival presents Riverfront Nights, a six-week series of free concerts at Ross’s Landing during Saturday nights in July and August.

Admission is free, and all shows welcome families and pets.

Local vendors will begin beer sales when gates open at 6:30 p.m. Music begins at 7 with a local opening band each night, followed by a full concert from a visiting artist at 8.

Each concert also includes a “pup tent,” a VIP area for dogs and their human companions, sponsored by Tennessee American Water.
