In recent shows, Nelson has been performing all his classics, such as “Always on My Mind,” “Whiskey River,” “On the Road Again” and “Angels Flying Too Close to the Ground.”

Yoakam’s 2012 release “3 Pears” garnered national acclaim. Entertainment Weekly called the album “a smashing return to form.” The Boston Globe said, “It’s nothing more-or less-than the latest chapter in his extraordinary, funhouse mirror version of honky-tonk traditionalism.”
As an actor, Yoakam appeared in 2010’s “Dirty Girl.” He’s also made appearances on/at “The Judge,” “Squidbillies,” “Under the Dome” and the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
