The Southside’s trampoline park is closing, and owner John Wise is replacing it with a live music venue.
Nashville’s Marathon Music Works is slated to open in about 90 days, Wise said Friday morning.
“I think it’ll be a great asset to that area,” he also said.
The Jump Park is located next to Southside Social, which will remain open. Wise also owns other property in that area, where he has plans for more restaurants/bars.
Combined with action at Finley Stadium, Wise sees that area as a growing entertainment district, he also said.
“I thought [Marathon Music] was a better long-term fit,” he said.
Marathon in Nashville recently underwent renovations, and The Tennessean reported in February that owners were working to expand with another venue in Kansas City.
The Jump Park opened in 2014.
