“1964 the Tribute” at Tivoli
1964 was the year that everything changed for music fans. The catalyst was the emergence of The Beatles from Liverpool, England, to American soil. The Tivoli Theatre will host the “best Beatles tribute band on Earth” at 8 p.m. Friday. The group recreates an early ’60s live Beatles concert with exact precision: the same instruments, clothing, hairstyles and onstage banter. Tickets are still available for the show. Uncommon Art Show
The Crash Pad will host the inaugural Uncommon Art Show Saturday at 2 p.m. A variety of local artists will offer their items for sale during the outdoor event. Shakespeare in the park
A local theater company will perform William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” in Coolidge Park this weekend. Back Alley Productions will offer the free performance as part of the fifth annual Shakespeare Summer Series. Although admission is free, Back Alley will accept donations. The traveling repertory theater troupe has performed in Dalton and will make a stop in Ringgold at the Northwest Georgia Bank Amphitheater Aug. 19.
