AFC Urgent Care is giving out free solar eclipse safety glasses from four area locations.

Branches got 300 pairs each that they started giving away Friday at 1 p.m.

By Friday afternoon, employees had given away about 50 pairs from each location.

Rachel Davis of AFC Urgent Care said the glasses are ISO-compliant.


While supplies last, area residents can get a pair from one of the branches between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and before the eclipse Monday, starting at 8 a.m.

There’s a limit of one pair per family.

  • 1521 Gunbarrel Road, Suite 103, East Brainerd
