Parkridge Medical Center is hosting an open house and job fair for nursing and patient care professionals.
During the Sept. 20 event, recruiters will be looking to fill more than 100 registered nursing and patient care tech positions among the system’s Chattanooga locations that include Parkridge East Hospital and Parkridge Valley Hospital.
“We are excited to bring this career opportunity to experienced RNs and experienced or new patient techs,” Parkridge Health System Chief Nurse Executive Deborah Deal said in a prepared statement. “We encourage nurses and techs to think about where they are currently in their careers, where they’d like to be, then have a discussion with us on how we can possibly help them get there.”
Deal also said that more than 100 career opportunities for nurses and medical and mental health care techs are available immediately, with more anticipated in the future because of planned growth of Parkridge Health System.
“We feel our nursing culture appeals to those nurses who get career satisfaction from providing evidence-based, individualized and personal patient care,” she said.
The open house and job fair will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Parkridge Medical Center Diagnostic Center, which is located at 2205 McCallie Ave. Refreshments will be provided.
Attendees are encouraged to RSVP to Parkridge.JoinHCA.com and bring current résumés to the event.
