Parents and community members who missed hearing the new Hamilton County School System superintendent speak in August can read his responses to questions posed by parents and community members online.
During the welcome reception for the superintendent, hosted by Chattanooga 2.0 Aug. 8, new Superintendent Dr. Bryan Johnson shared his vision for the future of education, as well as on topics ranging from students with disabilities to school funding to arts integration.
Johnson also unveiled his plan for the new Opportunity Zone.
“The Opportunity Zone will create a more sustainable infrastructure and targeted services dedicated to … all schools in the district,” Johnson said during the event.
