Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise and Northside Neighborhood House are pairing up to host an event aimed at educating locals about personal finance.
The one-day financial educational workshop, called Mini-Money School, will cover topics such as credit scores, homeownership, retirement, estate planning, budgeting, savings and financial aid.
The event will take place Nov. 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Red Bank High School at 640 Morrison Springs Road.
“Our goal is to provide useful information that helps those attending gain further financial knowledge and confidence,” CNE President and CEO Martina Guilfoil said in a prepared statement. “We are excited to partner with Northside Neighborhood House to bring this important information to Red Bank and beyond.”
The event is open to both teenagers and adults who want to learn more about personal finance.
Admission is free.
A light breakfast, coffee and lunch will be served.
