The Filipino-American Association of Greater Chattanooga will host its annual holiday party to celebrate the season with traditional Christmas customs.

The event will take place Dec. 9 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the St. Jude Catholic Church at 930 Ashland Terrace.

The event will feature Christmas carols sung in Filipino, display of “parol” (a Philippine Christmas lantern) and “bahay┬ákubo” (a nipa hut).

Guests can also enjoy games, other musical performances and a raffle.

The event is also a potluck. Bringing a dish and a dessert will drop the entry price.

Prices for guests who bring a dish are $5 for adults and $3 for children 6 to 13 years old. Prices for guests without a dish are $15 for adults and $10 for children 6 to 13 years old. The event is free for children under 5.
