The UTC Symphony Orchestra will present a concert at the Roland Hayes Concert Hall on Sunday afternoon.
The concert features a 60-member college/community orchestra including university music majors and non-majors from both UTC and Chattanooga State. In addition, the symphony highlights UTC music faculty members, area music educators and local amateur and professional musicians.
Admission is free. The show is at 3 p.m.

The concert will open with the overture to Mozart’s “The Magic Flute,” followed by a performance of Vivaldi’s “Concerto in C Major, RV444” for piccolo by Mikaela Parker. Diego de Córdova will perform Maria Von Weber’s “Concertino for Clarinet.” The final performance of the evening will be the first movement of Felix Mendelssohn’s “Piano Concerto No. 1, Op. 25” with Xinwen Zhang.
Sandy Morris is the conductor of the orchestra.
