Two popular St. Patrick’s Day events return this year.
The annual St. Chatty’s Day Parade presented by The Shamrock Society will be on March 17 at 1 p.m. followed by the 5th annual St. Paddy’s Day Party on the Parkway at 3 p.m.
All ages are invited to attend both events.
This year’s parade honors the legacy of Jim Brewer, featuring local high school marching bands, Alhambra Shrine units the Highlanders Pipe and Drum Band, the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile and more.
Parade entry is $25 and proceeds benefit Chattanooga Kids on the Block. Spectating is free.
At 3 p.m., The Honest Pint presents Party on the Parkway, a massive street party designed to showcase and promote local and regional musicians and celebrate the tradition of St. Patrick’s Day.
Admission is $15 through March 16 and $20 at the gate. A Jameson VIP package is available for $45 offering guests private restrooms, VIP tasting and an event T-shirt.
