Tennessee ranked No. 38 in a new WalletHub report that measures how women in each state fare in economic, social, health and safety metrics.
The personal finance site examined metrics, such as median earnings for female works and quality of health care.
In the health and safety category, Tennessee ranked No. 45. The Volunteer State came in No. 29 in the economic and social well-being portion.
The report is framed in the context of the “me too” movement and the prevalence of sexual harassment as a significant political issue.
