More than a dozen Chattanooga firefighters are being featured with their pets in a new calendar that’s on sale now.

All the proceeds will be used to purchase resuscitation equipment for cats and dogs rescued from structure fires, Wally’s Friends Spay & Neuter Clinic Executive Director Eileen Price said.

“Our goal is to equip each fire apparatus with three sizes of pet resuscitation masks,” Price in a prepared statement. “We think the initial cost to do that will be around $5,000.”

Wally’s Friends is a low-cost spay and neuter clinic located in Red Bank.

Chattanooga artist Miki Boni partnered with Wally’s Friends to create the calendar.

Fire Chief Phil Hyman is very grateful for the help.

“We were surprised when Eileen and Miki approached us about selling a calendar,” he said in a prepared statement. “As far as I know, we’ve never done anything like this before, but we can certainly put that pet rescue equipment to good use if we get it.”

The calendars cost $20 and will be sold at the following locations:
