The Chattanooga Market will return to the First Tennessee Pavilion in April.
The market will open for the 18th season April 28-29 with live music, produce, artisan-prepared foods and more.
According to organizers, opening weekend typically consists of the season’s first harvest of strawberries, fresh herbs, sunflowers and items for the garden.
Many popular featured weekends are returning this season, including the annual Street Food Festival May 26-27, EPB Strawberry Festival June 3, Five Star Food Fight July 15 and Oktoberfest Oct. 13-14.
Opening weekend hours will be Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Live music will be provided by Sweet Georgia Sound and Martin Rodriguez.
Sister markets will also open soon. The Chattanooga River Market (at the Tennessee Aquarium) will open Saturday, March 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Collegedale Market will open April 7-8.
In Ooltewah, the Cambridge Market is open every Friday night from 6 to 9 p.m. at Cambridge Square.
