Southside restaurant Clyde’s on Main is now called HiFi Clyde’s.

The change comes after Washington D.C.-based Clyde’s Restaurant Group filed a lawsuit against the local restaurant’s parent company, Chattanooga-based  MF Restaurant Group, arguing that it was infringing on its trademark.

The new name is a reference to a term used in music and fits with the local business, which often has live bands play there.

The Nashville Business Journal has more about the change.
