“Chicago” at UTC Theatre
UTC Theatre Co. is bringing old-fashioned razzle-dazzle to Chattanooga with “Chicago”—a story of murder, greed and adultery this week. Set in 1920s Chicago, this enticing musical follows glamorous murderesses, Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart, as they make headlines for their sinister crimes. The play is at the Dorothy Hackett Ward Theatre located in the UTC Fine Arts Center. The run begins today at 7:30 pm, with performances through April 21. Tickets are available here.

Friends of the Public Library book sale
The annual book sale to benefit the Chattanooga Public Library systems continues this week at the Eastgate Mall. Hardbacks for $2, paperbacks are $1, and children’s books are half price. Books are restocked daily. The sale continues through April 24 from 9 to 6 p.m.
