Crabtree Farms and EPB are continuing a partnership to bring a Pop-Up Farm Stand downtown this summer.

“The stand offers a fun way for folks to access local sustainably grown vegetables and celebrate the beginning of the summer harvest season,” Avery Patten with the community-focused sustainable farm said in a prepared statement.

The Pop-Up Farm Stand will be inside an EPB branded tent at the corner of Market Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, in front of EPB’s downtown headquarters building, on select days through the first week in June.

In addition to fresh produce selections, Crabtree Farms representatives will be available to share information about sustainable farming and healthier eating options.

“As more people choose to call downtown Chattanooga home, EPB is excited to support our partnership with Crabtree Farms to feed the growing appetite for healthier food choices,” EPB Director of Community and Environmental Stewardship Elizabeth Hammitt said in a prepared statement.

The Pop-Up Farm Stand accepts cash, cards or EBT.

It will be open from 11:30 to 1 p.m. on May 24, 31 and June 7.
