Bessie Smith Strut
The annual Bessie Smith Strut is one of the highlights of the 8-day Riverbend Festival week. Held on Martin Luther King Boulevard, the event celebrates the heritage and legacy of Chattanoogan Bessie Smith with blues music, food vendors and more. This year’s event features Rick Rushing and Blues Strangers, Charles Walker Band, Drew Sterchi & Blues Tribe, Deacon Bluz and the Holy Smoke Band and Christone Kingfish Ingram. Admission is $10 or $5 with a Riverbend wristband.

21 years of The Big Chill
The Big Chill can legally consume alcohol beginning tonight. Guests are invited to celebrate 21 years of business with a party from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Expect Jell-O shots, live DJ music, frozen drinks and great food.
