Michael Murphy joined Nooga.com in 2012 as sports reporter, covering University of Tennessee at Chattanooga athletics and high school sports in and around Chattanooga.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and has worked as a sports reporter for more than two years at the Pine Bluff Commercial in Pine Bluff, Ark., and the Hendersonville Star News in Gallatin, Tenn.

Michael, a native of Nashville, earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from UTC in the summer of 2010 after completing an internship at the Tennessean.
