There are no more children in critical condition after a Nov. 21 school bus crash that left six others dead.

“Three children who were injured in the Nov. 21 bus wreck remain at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger,” according to a statement on the hospital’s website. “All three children are in fair condition. No more patients from the wreck are listed in critical condition.”

A few days after the crash, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger had three pediatric patients listed in critical condition and two children in fair condition recovering in patient rooms.


Thirty-seven students were on the Woodmore Elementary School bus when it crashed into a tree and flipped on its side in a Brainerd-area neighborhood.

Twenty students were treated and released after the crash.

The bus driver,JohnthonyWalker, 24, has been charged with vehicular homicide, andthe mother of a child injured in the crash has filed alawsuitagainst the vehicle’s driver and Durham School Services, the company that contracts buses for Hamilton County.
