“Dukes of Hazzard” playing cards, an “E.T.” lunch tray, a Popeye piggy bank and Tasmanian Devil slippers are just a few of the items you might find this weekend at the 127 Yard Sale.
Numerous vendors gather atop Signal Mountain and Lookout Mountain for the annual event, dubbed the World’s Longest Yard Sale, to sell anything and everything to eager passersby.
This year’s sale officially begins Thursday and continues through Sunday. However, some locations open several days earlier.

If you’ve got the time and a full tank, sales can be found for nearly 690 miles along the corridor, from Gadsden, Alabama, to Addison, Michigan. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the sale, which started in Fentress County, Tennessee.

Beginning locally along Lookout Mountain Parkway, the trail travels through downtown Chattanooga along Highway 127 to Signal Mountain to Dunlap.

More than 35 local vendors have signed up to participate on the website.
But the Chattanooga area is also home to several “major vendor” collectives-many of which contain 30 to 45 vendors at one location. These locations are also known as tent cities.
Major vendors include Ewtonville Baptist Church and Hendrick Farm in Dunlap. The Lone Oak Community Center on Signal Mountain boasts more than 75 vendors at their location. Signal Mountain is also home to Pickers Field and Mountain Top Farm locations, both well-known along the route for their size.
