Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center has announced its annual fall native plant sale, along with other fun and educational events scheduled for September and October.

The plant sale will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 6–7 for the public, and the members-only presale will be Oct. 5 from 2 to 7 p.m.

While spring is often the flashy season for blooms, fall is an ideal time for planting trees, shrubs and perennials, which can establish strong roots throughout the winter and withstand the cruel whims of summer.
