The Chattanooga Football Club announced this morning that the 2018 season will open with an exhibition game against a professional team.
FC Dallas—a Major League Soccer team—will visit Finley Stadium Feb. 3. The game will be at noon, and tickets are $12 in advance.

Sean McDaniel, Chattanooga FC general manager, said in a prepared statement:
We are honored to welcome one of the marquee brands from Major League Soccer. FC Dallas brings a great history of professional soccer to our city, and we couldn’t be happier showcasing Chattanooga FC in another MLS exhibition match. It continues to show how our fans keep raising the bar by supporting big-time matches each and every season.
Season pass holders will receive free admission to the game.
According to the CFC website, gates will open to season pass holders at 10:30 a.m. and to the general public at 11 a.m.
Season ticket packages are now available for the upcoming Chattanooga Football Club season.
Prices range from $79 to $249. Amenities include specialty scarves, early entry to matches, pint glasses, VIP parking, CFC gift cards and season pass jerseys.

2018 marks the 10th year for the Chattanooga FC.
FC Dallas has been a Major League Soccer team since the league’s inception in 1996. The team plays at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. FC Dallas won the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in 1997 and 2016. They were MLS Western Conference champions in 2010 and regular season champions in 2006, 2015 and 2016.
