Chattanooga is on The New York Times’ 2018 list of places to visit.
This is the 13th year that the publication has created the guide, and the new edition also includes places such as Tangier, Morocco and Buffalo, New York.
Chattanooga is No. 25 on the list, and the write-up highlights the city’s high-speed internet service, local business development, the Tennessee Riverwalk and several businesses, including the Chattanooga Choo Choo, the Dwell Hotel and Songbirds Guitar Museum.
The Gig City isn’t a stranger to being featured in the publication.
Chattanooga made the NYT’s 2012 list of 45 places to visit. In 2014, the publication highlighted the city’s internet services and business growth, and last year the paper featured Chattanooga and Tennessee as examples of areas benefiting from investment from foreign companies—to name a few examples.
